Plans for new schools on old campuses disclosed in New York City

From The New York Times: New York City is planning to put two new charter schools in the place of the closing John F. Kennedy High School, a campus in the Bronx that used to enroll as many as 5,000 students at a time. It also is planning to place a new technology-themed school, which will go up to Grade 14 and is supported by IBM, in Paul Robeson High School, a closing Brooklyn school that advocates have been trying to save for its work educating at-risk youths.
