New York college breaks ground on new residence hall Elmira College facility will house 140 students
Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y., has begun work on a $35 million residence hall that will have a fitness center, music practice rooms and an "elegant" lounge. It also will be the first residence hall on campus with air-conditioning. The facility is scheduled to open in September 2010, will accommodate 140 students.
