Catholic high school in Cincinnati gets renovation, expansion

Newport Central Catholic High School in Cincinnati has broken ground on a $6.5 million renovation and construction of a 27,896-square-foot, four-floor addition, which will include a handicap-accessible, black-box theater, chapel, classrooms and administrative offices. With the renovation of the existing school’s 57,626-square-foot building, the school will be bolstered to 85,522 square feet. The existing building will receive new energy-efficient ceilings, new flooring and classroom projector, speaker and intercom systems. The architect is GBBN Architects Inc.
