Nine indicted over fraternity beating at Youngstown State University

Two students were hospitalized after hazing ritual

From The Youngstown Vindicator: A Mahoning County, Ohio, grand jury has indicted nine people in the beating of two Youngstown State University students during hazing rituals for fraternity membership. Authorities say that the victims, Breylon Stubbs, 22, and Resean Yancey, 20, were beaten so badly during pledging rituals for the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity that each was hospitalized with serious injuries. The two students were beaten with fists, a paddle and sometimes a wire clothes hanger.
