Prosecutors say the man's Facebook posts did not include specific threats

From The Los Angeles Times: The Los Angeles County district attorney's office has declined to file charges against a 24-year-old man who allegedly posted threats on Facebook about killing elementary school students. Kyle Bangayan was arrested Sunday at his parents' home in Los Angeles and booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. But prosecutors subsequently decided they would not charge Bangayan with any crime because he had not made specific threats targeting individual students or schools.

Investigators received information about the threats and when they went to the suspect's home about 2 p.m. Sunday, they found numerous weapons inside. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. His identity has not been disclosed.
