Officials say the move to facility won’t occur for 2 years or more

From The Portland Oregonian: The North Clackamas (Ore.) School Board has approved the purchase of a $3.8 million building to consolidate administrative services, but district employees cannot relocate there for at least two years as the existing tenants finish their leases. The building in Milwaukie is across the street from the district’s current 9,000-square foot-administrative office and about 20,000 square feet bigger.

A citizen oversight committee for the bond unanimously recommended the move, but several school board members remained concerned about the perception attached to making a multimillion-dollar purchase during a state funding crisis.
