Section of wall at Northampton High School must be replaced because of safety concerns

The Northampton County (Va.) district is planning a $3.5 million renovation project to replace unsafe walls at Northampton High School in Eastville. The affected classrooms, housing the math and English departments, have been closed until repairs can be made. The project also includes ceiling and light replacement, asbestos abatement, and new chalkboards and fixtures in all the classrooms.The architect is Waller Todd and Sadler.
