Northern Illinois marks anniversary of shooting deaths

Saturday marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting that killed five students in a lecture hall atNorthern Illinois University in DeKalb. The university will hold a morning remembrance at the 10,000-seat NIU convocation center; a luncheon awarding five $4,000 newly created scholarships to honor the victims; an event honoring the emergency responders; and an evening candlelight vigil.
