Elementary school in Three Rivers district has been closed for four years because of air quality
From The Cincinnati Enquirer: Four years ago, a 370-student elementary school in the Three Rivers (Ohio) school district was evacuated because of air pollution. It never reopened. Now the district has sued the former and current owners of the plastics plant near the shuttered Meredith Hitchens Elementary in Addyston. Three Rivers, a 2,000-student district, also is opposing a proposed $3.1 million settlement between federal and state environmental agencies and the plant’s current owner.
