Ohio State University's huge rec center marks 5th anniversary

Dec. 14, 2009
Facility recorded 1.9 million visits last school year
From The Columbus Dispatch: The Recreation and Physical Activity Center at Ohio State University in Columbus will turn 5 years old next year. At an unmatched 569,459 square feet, it remains the Cadillac of college recreational playgrounds in the country - and the priciest, too. The center (called RPAC by most) and its companion, the Adventure Recreation Center, cost a combined $140 million. Last school year, the RPAC recorded nearly 1.9 million visits by students and faculty and staff members.
