Students face charges for barricading resident assistant in room

From The Columbus Dispatch: Four Ohio University students face criminal charges after being accused of leaving a resident assistant barricaded in his room on two occasions last month. The students used a rope to secure the door and prevent the resident assistant from exiting a room in Perkins Hall May 15, according to records from the Athens County Municipal Court. The second incident occurred May 29, when a chain allegedly was used for the same purpose. Police responded to the second incident with bolt cutters to remove padlocks and chains after a building adviser called police.
