OK for Oklahoma City school bonds

The Oklahoma City (Okla.) district has won approval of a $248.3 million school bond package. Voters approved four separate proposals that will provide funds for improvements in school facilities, technology, transportation and security.

EARLIER: The Oklahoma City (Okla.) school district is seeking approval next month of a $248.3 million bond proposal. The money would enable the district to add 47 gymnasiums and 50 classrooms. It also would provide funds to upgrade technology and heating and cooling systems, and buy buses.
