Oklahoma district breaks ground for 2 elementary schools (w/Video)

Midwest City-Del City will open first new elementary schools in 40 years

From The Daily Oklahoman: The Midwest City-Del City (Okla.) district has begun construction this month on two schools: a new Soldier Creek Elementary, and a building to replace East Side Elementary School. These are the first elementary schools to be built in the district since 1973. The new schools should be opened by the 2014-2015. The growing district has about 14,600 students.
