Oklahoma State's plans for ag research site hit a snag

Oklahoma State University’s plan to build a 20,000-square-foot agricultural research institute may have hit a major roadblock after the Dickson Board of Trustees tabled the university’s request to de-annex 70 acres of land near State Highway 199 and Mary Niblack Road. The university wants the trustees to de-annex the property so it could then be annexed into the City of Ardmore, which already has the infrastructure in place to provide the necessary water and sewer services for the project.
