Site for new Olympia North elementary is east and south of existing school. Olympia (Ill.) district buys site for new elementary

The Olympia (Ill.) school district has bought a 16-acres site to build a new Olympia North Elementary School. The site is close enough to the existing school to enable some parts of the campus, such as the gymnasium, to serve the new school. The initial concept for the school envisions a design that would meet the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED standards for sustainable design and construction. The architect is BLDD Architects.
