Agreement would end Orange County (Fla.) district desegregation case

From The Orlando Sentinel: The Orange County (Fla.) school district and the NAACP have reached an agreement that solidifies plans to renovate some black-majority schools and encourages the hiring of a diverse staff. The agreement would end further court fights in the decades-old desegregation case that dates back to 1962 when a group of black parents sued the district.
