Oregon governor signs school energy incentive program

From The Salem Statesman Journal: Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber has signed a bill that will make it easier for school districts to pay for projects such as weatherization, new boilers, lighting and roofs.

From MyCentralOregon.com: The Oregon Senate has approved legislation that will offer schools low-cost loans to pay for energy-efficient technology retrofits. Supporters of the "Cool Schools" bill say it will help districts pay for high upfront costs of energy efficiency improvements. Gov. John Kitzhaber, who said he would sign the legislation.
