Oregon high school damaged by fire has reopened (w/VIDEO)

The three teens who admitted starting the fire are sentenced to probation.
UPDATE: Three teen-aged boys who admitted causing the May 11 fire at Woodburn (Ore.) High Schoolhave been sentenced to five years of probation. The teen who started the fire, Diego Rodriguez-Alvarez, 15, also was sentenced to four days in juvenile detention. Rodriguez-Alvarez, Jose Campuzano-Zepeda, 16, Miguel Garcia, 15, admitted to juvenile charges of attempted first-degree arson and five counts of recklessly endangering. From KATU-TV: Just a few months after a devastating fire, Woodburn (Ore.) High School is starting the school year as scheduled. Three students confessed to starting a fire in May that destroyed classrooms and left most of the building with smoke and water damage. The building is missing a few classrooms that sustained serious fire damage, and part of the school is still unfinished. But other parts of the buiilding have been cleaned and rebuilt. VIDEO:
MAY 2012...from The Portland Oregonian: Three 15-year-old students accused of starting an extra-alarm fire last week at Woodburn High School in Woodburn, Ore., ignited puddles of ethyl alcohol-based hand sanitizer on a desktop with a lighter, court documents say. What the students allegedly did is similar to a stunt seen on a 2007 YouTube video. The video appears to have been shot in a school and ends with a hand snuffing out the blue flames from a swirling pattern of hand sanitizer burning on what looks like a tabletop. At Woodburn, the boys allegedly did the same thing, according to the affidavit. Then in an attempt to put the fire out, they made it worse. EARLIER...from The Portland Oregonian: Woodburn, Ore., police say three 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with a fire that burned through the wood and metal shops at Woodburn High School. The boys, whose identities were not disclosed, face charges of arson, reckless burning and reckless endangering. MORE: School district news release: Woodburn High School in Woodburn, Ore., will be closed to students and teachers for the entire week to assess damages to the campus caused by an extra-alarm fire.
