Oregon district lowers projected cost of bonds

The Oregon Trail (Ore.) School District says the cost of its proposed facilities bond has decreased by more than $2 million. Previous estimates pegged the price of the bond to be as much as $125 million, and more recently $117 million. Now the price stands at $114.9 million. If voters approve in November, the bonds would pay construction of a new Sandy High School building and make critical upgrades to the district’s nine other schools.
