Palm Beach district foresees more enrollment decline

Planners forecast 3rd straight year of drop

Palm Beach County (Fla.) educators are projecting a third straight year with fewer students, but plenty of new school construction projects still are in progress or coming soon. The district's total K-12 enrollment projection of 168,278 students is nearly 5,000 below its record high in 2005 — the end of 35 years of growth.
