From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: The Parma (Ohio) school district is getting $4 million as part of a settlement with a law firm that represented the district for more than seven years until a board member and one of the firm's lawyers were ensnared in a massive public corruption probe. The law firm,Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, didn't admit any wrongdoing or liability, according to the settlement agreement. The district suffered significant monetary and public perception problems stemming from bribery schemes orchestrated by former school board president J. Kevin Kelly.
