Pasco County (Fla.) district will get $8.8 million business computer upgrade

Outmoded system will be replaced beginning next year

From The St. Petersburg Times: The Pasco County (Fla.) School Board has approved an $8.8 million contract to upgrade their 1990s-era business computer systems. Still pending is another $5.2 million for maintenance, disaster recovery and system administration. Changes will come first to the district's financial operations, followed by human relations, work orders and finally staff development.
