MIssissippi district seeks funds for new elementary

The Pearl River (Miss.) County School District will ask voters on Sept. 18 to approve a $10.5 million bond proposal for a new elementary school. To cover the remaining costs of the $15 million 700-student facility, the school board would use budget reserves that are in its capitol improvement fund.
