Pell City, Ala., district breaks ground on grade school

The Pell City (Ala.) district has broken ground on a new fifth-sixth-grade school. The school will have about 79,500 square feet, with 28 regular classrooms and four special education classrooms, a media center, computer classroom, science classroom, art classroom, band room and gymnasium. The architect is McKee and Associates Architecture and Interior Design.
