Kentucky school bus crash kills high school student

A 16-year-old sophomore at Pendleton County (Ky.) High School was killed on his way to school Thursday when a dump truck crossed the center line of a two-lane road and struck a school bus. Daniel Wood died at the scene of the crash just north of Falmouth. Police say Daniel was sitting near a window toward the rear on the driver's side, near the spot where the dump truck struck. A dozen people also were treated at an area hospital for minor injuries
