Parkland school officials hope to bring in as much as $150,000 in the first year

From The Allentown Morning Call: The Parkland (Pa.) School District plans to sell ad space inside its school buses as a way to raise revenue. The ads would appear only inside buses. In return, the district would get 75 percent of the price charged to advertisers, an estimated $150,000 in the first year. Advertisements would be displayed in 46 high school buses. That figure could double if the district's total fleet of 96 buses took part the following year.
