Huge cuts needed to close deficit in Philadelphia school system

From The Philadelphia Inquirer: Philadelphia City Controller Alan Butkovitz says the city's public school system would have to cut $400,000 per day between now and June 30 just to erase a projected deficit of at least $61 million.
