$17 million facility planned for Oregon Research Institute
FromThe Eugene Register-Guard: The University of Oregon Senate has voted to oppose putting a new research building along the Willamette River. The group says the university should not allow a private developer to begin work on a new office building for the Oregon Research Institute in the Riverfront Research Park. The city of Eugene already has approved an extension of the conditional use permit that would allow construction of the $17 million, 80,000-square-foot building.
