Plans unveiled for new elementary in Livingston Parish, La.

Juban Parc school scheduled to open in 2010
Livingston Parish (La.) school district officials have unveiled plans for the new 72,000-square-foot Juban Parc Elementary School. The facility will have 43 classrooms for pre-kindergarteners to fifth-graders. The school will house 500 students when opened but can hold 850. Six rooms will set be aside for special education students, two for computers and 35 for regular education students. The campus will have a full kitchen, a 3,800-square-foot library, administrative offices, a 3,000-square-foot covered play area and a cafeteria. The architect is Alvin Fairburn and Associates. .
