University of Tampa restores historic former hotel

Plant Hall, a National Historic Landmark that houses the administrative offices of the University of Tampa and the Henry B. Plant Museum, is being restored to the Beaux Arts color scheme it had from 1892 to 1920 when it was the Tampa Bay Hotel. The restoration is being paid for by the Plant Hall Preservation Trust Fund, funded equally by the University of Tampa and the city.
