Security cameras coming to high school campuses in Plymouth-Canton (Mich.) district

From the Plymouth Patch: The Plymouth-Canton (Mich.) School Board has approved the installation of security cameras that will provide full interior coverage of the three high schools in the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. The cameras are estimated to cost $387,711, and the lights $108,100. Parents lobbied for cameras after the park faced two threats of violence in one week in October 2011. The high schools on the site have a total of 6,200 students.
