From The Brownsville Herald: Police have fatally shot an eighth grade student who brought a gun to his middle school in Brownsville, Texas. Authorities say the student brandished a gun at Cummings Middle School around 8 a.m., and was shot by a Brownsville police officer. A school administrator noticed the student carrying the gun and called Brownsville and school district police.
