$482 million bond approved in Portland (Ore.) district

From The Portland Oregonian: Voters have approved a record-breaking, $482 million bond measure to rebuild and upgrade facilities in the Portland (Ore.) school district. The approval comes 18 months after district voters rejected a $542 million request. The bonds will provide the money to renovate Franklin, Grant and Roosevelt high schools and rebuild Faubion K-8. Dozens of schools will receive seismic upgrades, roof replacements, accessibility upgrades or science lab improvements.
