Portland State University students to decide on fees for green programs

From The Portland Oregonian: Portland State University students are voting this week on whether to charge themselves for a host of green programs, including a student-run sustainability project fund to pay for small-scale capital projects. If the green initiative is approved, students will pay a $5 fee per term, which would generate $500,000 to help reduce the student body's carbon footprint. Oregon, Oregon State and Southern Oregon University students have approved similar fees.
