ThePortland (Ore.) school system is narrowing what projects it wants to include ina bond proposal to fix its aging facilities. With more than 100 buildings, the district is aiming for a bond in fall 2010 or later that would probably pay for remodels of 10 to 20 schools. The bond also would cover smaller but essential upgrades for other buildings.
