Maryland district wants K-8 campuses

The Prince George's County (Md.) school superintendent is proposing to create more K-8 schools in hopes of stopping a decline in test scores that often begins in early adolescence. If the board approves, as many as 15 of the county's 141 elementary schools would become K-8 campuses a year from now.
