Prosser (Wash.) district puts off bond plans

A bond election to pay for a new high school inProsser, Wash., will have to wait until the economy improves. The district has postponed a planned March 10 referendum that would have asked voters to approve a $47.6 million bond issue. Board members say they will wait out an uncertain economy that has brought rising unemployment and falling housing prices.
