Springfield, Mass., wants to replace vocational school

The city of Springfield, Mass., is planning to replace the existing Putnam Vocational Technical High School. The state of Massachusetts has agreed to pay 90 percent of the cost of the $120 million facility, which will be built on a field next to the existing school.
