Request for community college construction in Wyoming is tabled

Oct. 21, 2011
$9 million was sought for 14 projects

From The Casper Star-Tribune: The top elected officials in Wyoming have refused to move forward with a request from the Wyoming Community College Commission for nearly $9 million to finance 14 new construction projects. The officials, sitting as the State Building Commission, tabled the community colleges' requests on grounds the new plan came in too late to receive the attention it needs. The revised request called for nearly $9 million for the projects for the 2013-14 biennium with local financial support from nonstate sources, including a mill levy.
