More homes will be spared when O.M. Roberts school is rebuilt

From The Dallas Morning News: The Dallas Independent School District has revised its plans to rebuild O.M. Roberts Elementary School, and a neighborhood greenhouse and some homes will be spared. The district sought to buy the greenhouse property and a couple of dozen homes to erect a new school building on an expanded campus. It has already purchased a number of houses. But at least seven homeowners in the South Dallas neighborhood held out — along with Vickery Wholesale Greenhouse — and refused to accept the district’s purchase offers.
