Missouri district fires superintendent who faces theft charges

The Riverview Gardens (Mo.) School Board has fired Henry Williams as superintendent of schools. Williams was removed of his duties March 15, after a state audit found the district had wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars on his watch. Days later, St. Louis County prosecutors charged Williams with two counts of felony theft and three counts of tax evasion. He is free on bond.
