Roseville, Calif., gets 1st charter school

John Adams Academy will welcome 600 students

From The Sacramento Bee: The first charter school in Roseville, Calif., is set to open next week. The John Adams Academy expects to have 600 students enrolled when it opens Sept. 6. The school has a 10-year lease for a 51,000-square-foot site that will have 34 classrooms, a library, administrative offices, computer labs and a multipurpose room.
