From The Sacramento Bee: Work has begun on a $24.5 million sports complex at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, Calif. When complete, the complex will include a football stadium bordered by an all-weather track, three soccer fields, two softball diamonds and two baseball fields, all with synthetic turf. There will be six lighted tennis courts, spectator seating, restrooms and a picnic area with shade structures.
OCTOBER 2009....from The Sacramento Bee: A formal groundbreaking is scheduled for a multi-sport complex at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento. The $24.5 million Luther Burbank Regional Sports Complex is a partnership between the city of Sacramento and Sacramento City Unified School District.
