Sacramento high school opens theater

From The Sacramento Bee: A state-of-the art theater is opening at John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento. The $8.2 million, 465-seat performing arts facility will provide a venue for training students for television, stage and movie careers, the Sacramento City Unified School District says. In addition to acting, students will be taught stage and lighting design, set building and costuming.
