Sacramento charter school undergoes renovations

The Met Sacramento High School receives energy-efficient upgrades

From The Sacramento Bee: The campus for The Met Sacramento High Schoolis scheduled to reopen in January after a $6.9 million renovation. Using efficiency guidelines from the U.S. Green Building Council and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools, the upgraded facility will have energy-efficient windows and lighting, new plumbing and heating, and countertops made with recycled glass. During construction, the 300 students from the charter school will be housed at Sacramento High School during construction.
