Salida (Colo.) district plans for $28 million bond election

Jul 5, 2009 1:12 PM

From The Mountain Mail: The Salida (Colo.) school district plans to hold a $28 million bond election in November that would help pay for a new elementary school and an addition at Salida High School. The bonds would cover the local share of a $44 million construction program; a state grant would cover the rest of the cost. The elementary school would be an all new, two-story building. The high school would get a new academic wing, and a new front entrance would be built.
