San Antonio university recovers from fire

From The San Antonio Express-News: If it weren't for the construction fences surrounding the Main Building at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, one almost could forget that a year ago a fire raged through the top floor, toppling one of the building's iconic spires. Today, the silver spire lies on the sidewalk in front of the building. The blond brick facade appears unchanged. People have relocated and moved on with the business of teaching and studying. But inside the old building, a transformation is taking place. The renovated building, which is scheduled to open in fall 2010, will revolve around students rather than administrative functions.
