Bus services cut in California district

The San Marcos (Calif.) school board approved cuts last night that could eliminate the jobs of 76 full-time and part-time classified employees, including bus drivers, custodians and instructional aides. It means that all home-to-school transportation would be eliminated for general education students attending the district's elementary and middle schools. About 2,000 students would be affected.
