Schools wrestle with policies on iPods, other gadgets

From The Boston Globe: School administrators are increasingly grappling with how to keep cellphones or other electronic gadgets from becoming distractions while allowing students a measure of freedom. This week, school officials in Natick, Mass., decided to forgo a vote on banning iPods and other electronic devices after students protested the new policy, contending that they can benefit learning.
