2 Michigan districts agree to share superintendent

From The Adrian Daily Telegram: In Michigan, the Hudson and Morenci school boards have voted to share a superintendent. Morenci voted 7-0 to accept the proposed agreement and share Hudson Superintendent Mike Osborne; Hudson’s board voted 6-1. Osborne told the boards he appreciated their hard work in looking at ways of reducing costs. A joint shared services council, made up of three members from each school’s board, has been set up to communicate between the two districts. The council also will act as a liaison if potential conflicts of interest arise.
